Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American musician, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name he uses is the fusion of the name a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. Scott signed a record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. The's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length project, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The single that became a hit "Antidote" was the album's lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. The following year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. After his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number one in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
