American actress Courtney Thorne Smith was born on the 8th November 1967. Her roles include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's role in Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mother, and she was a Therapist. They separated at the age of seven. Courtney was just seven, and she lived with both parents during various stages. She has an older sister named Jennifer who works as an advertising executive. She attended the Menlo-Atherton High school, in Atherton, California, and graduated from Tamalpais High School, in Mill Valley, California, in the year 1985. When she was at the high school system, she appeared in the Ensemble Theater Company of Mill Valley. Thorne Smith's first movie appearance was in the 1986 feature film drama Lucas. The film was co-produced by Winona Ryder (Corey Haim) and Charlie Sheen. In the 80s, she was a part of in a variety of films, like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). She was a part of Carrot Top in 1998's box office failure, the Chairman of the Board. In 2009 she was the lead in Sorority Wars. In the 1990s, Thorne-Smith began a relationship with Andrew Shue, her on-screen lover from Melrose Place. In June 2000, she got married to Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple split in January 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group the company that markets) and the author of What I Know was her wedding date. On the 11th of January, 2008, she turned 40 she gave birth to her son, Jacob Emerson Fishman.
